🌮 Best Steak Fajitas Recipe

These Steak Fajitas are marinated for maximum flavor, then seared until juicy and sliced thin for tender, restaurant-style fajitas at home. Serve them sizzling with warm tortillas and your favorite toppings!

Ingredients
  

  • 1½ lbs flank steak or skirt steak
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
Vegetables
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced

🌮 For Serving

  • Flour or corn tortillas
  • Sour cream
  • Guacamole or sliced avocado
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Salsa or pico de gallo

Method
 

  1. 1️⃣ Marinate the Steak

    Whisk together olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.Add steak, coat well, and marinate for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
  2. 2️⃣ Cook the Steak

    Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill pan over high heat.Cook steak 4–5 minutes per side until nicely charred and medium-rare.Remove and rest for 10 minutes.
  3. 3️⃣ Sauté Vegetables

    In the same pan, add a little oil.Sauté peppers and onions for 5–7 minutes until tender-crisp and slightly caramelized.
  4. 4️⃣ Slice & Combine

    Slice steak against the grain into thin strips.Return steak to pan with vegetables and toss briefly.
  5. 5️⃣ Serve

    Serve hot with warm tortillas and toppings.
